Chaotic Soul invites audiences into an intimate world where fragile meets fierce,darkness meets light and words unspoken find their voice. Casey-Jade Campbell is an actor, performer, facilitator and published poet from Coalisland, County Tyrone. Chaotic Soul, her most recent works comes in the form of a published book of poetry and a self produced short film to coincide with the poetry collection. On Sunday the 29th of November we will be introduced to a curated performance by Casey-Jade in a beautiful cabaret style setting. A film screening followed by readings of her work and ending the evening with songs from the era of the 1950's accompanied by talented pianist, Matthew Taaffe. "Chaotic Soul is an eclectic archive of deeply personal words, poems and insights moulded and made from lived experience, nurtured through the eyes of a prolific artist, performer, poet and wordsmith, with both curiosity and imagination. Each poem crafted from many personal chambers, worlds apart, semi autobiographical, far from a chaotic soul more a sage, an enlightened soul. Weaving words that are brave, bold, brittle, fragile and fierce. Words that sting and tease every emotion captured. Strong words from a young woman with a well worn soul, a heightened appreciation of all those that areprecious, a celebration of a coming of age, of wisdom, a warrior and a matriarch. With the weight of words penned from the heart, straight from the soul, piercing the very pulse, with resistance, persistence, resilience and ultimately gratitude."
