About This Event

The Fashion Society runs a three-part workshop series at Queen's University Belfast starting on 20 October 2026. The first session involves fashion illustration in the Sunset Room, followed by a guided charity shop crawl and a hands-on manipulation workshop with a mini photoshoot later in the month.

Thread Theory is a 3 part workshop where participants will put their creativity to the test.

01 / The Drawing Board Workshop, 4-6pm Sunset Room (20th)

- Fashion illustration workshop, with drawing materials provided

02 / The Great Fashion Hunt, 12pm Botanic Avenue (23rd)

- A guided Belfast charity shop crawl to source materials for your design (self funded)

03 / The Rework Room, 4-6pm Anne Maguire Room (27th)

- A hands-on fashion manipulation workshop with shared equipment, basic supplies provided, finishing with a mini photoshoot.
