The 21st September is the UN International Day of Peace—join us to celebrate our shared humanity and commit to building peace, everyday Join Us for the International Day of Peace! For the 5th year a group of organisations are joining to host an event celebrating both our diversity and also our shared humanity. We have seen a lot of positive signs in Belfast over the years, but we also still live under the shadow of the past and in a city that can still feel very divided. Join us to defy indifference and pessimism and to celebrate the beauty of difference and the wonder of what we share in common. This event will have stunning music from Afghanistan brought by the charity Beyond Skin. We will have some short reflections from members of different faith communities in Belfast. We will also have conversation with activists and community builders on the way forward for Belfast. Join us at 7pm for some light finger food and a special evening together.
