The CIOB Graduation Ceremony 2026 - NI will take place on November 20, 2026, at Belfast City Hall from 10:30 AM. This prestigious event provides an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the accomplishments of those who have been awarded Chartered Membership by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). The ceremony offers a platform for networking with peers and industry professionals, providing valuable opportunities for both personal and professional development. Admission is complimentary; however, attendees are encouraged to make optional donations ranging from £55 to support the institute's initiatives.
Graduation Ceremonies are an opportunity to celebrate your achievement of gaining an internationally recognised accreditation.
The CIOB Graduation Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of newly accredited TechCIOB, Chartered Members, and Fellows, will be held in Parliament Buildings, Stormont Estate Belfast.
Attending this graduation event provides an opportunity to celebrate your remarkable achievement in obtaining this internationally recognised accreditation. Chartered Membership distinguishes you as a genuine professional in your field, enhancing your career prospects, aiding in contract acquisition, elevating your organisation’s professionalism, and contributing to global standards in construction management.
Enjoy a lightlunch after the ceremony and network with your fellow graduates, CIOB officials and CIOB Staff. A professional photographer will be present to take a formal photograph of the Graduates and an official CIOB Group Graduation Photograph taken on the grand staircase in the Great Hall.
Dress Code
Business dress i.e. suits, trousers, jackets, shirts, skirts and dresses, while not formal, are appropriate for a business environment.
Gown Hire
All CIOB Members and Fellows receiving recognition are required to wear a CIOB gown, which can be hired from the robe makers.

Parliament Buildings, often referred to as Stormont because of its location in the Stormont Estate area of Belfast, is the seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly, the devolved legislature for the region. The purpose-built building, designed by Arnold Thornely, and constructed by Stewart & Partners, was opened by Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII), in 1932.
