These four sessions of an introduction to pyrography, has been kindly funded by Macmillan Cancer Support. This workshop is for patients, cancer survivors, and anyone whose life has been affected by cancer, whether personally or through a friend/ family member.

This workshop offers people affected by cancer the opportunity to explore the creative art of wood burning in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Guided by Lynn, participants will learn the basics of pyrography, including safe use of equipment, simple decorative techniques, and how to create their own personalised wooden piece to take home.

The workshop is designed to encourage creativity, build confidence, and provide a mindful activity that promotes relaxation and wellbeing. Participants will enjoy spending time with others who have shared experiences, helping to reduce feelings of isolation while fostering social connections through creativity.

No previous experience is required, and all materials and equipment will be provided
