A Saturday short walk will take place on 12th September 2026 at Waseley Hills Visitor Centre in Birmingham. The walk is a leisurely ramble with a Birmingham Ramblers group leader. Admission is free.

Join this leisurely ramble with a Birmingham Ramblers group leader and enjoy social walking with our friendly members.
It is essential that the walk leader has prior knowledge of numbers that will be on this walk. We ask you to complete this very brief form to help with our planning of the walk to ensure that we can safely accommodate all who wish to join us. You will receive an automatic acknowledgement when you submit this form, and also a reminder of the details 2 days before the walk.

An invigorating 5-6 mile walk in rural Worcestershire and Waseley Hills Country Park,
Meeting arrangements:
MEET AT WASELEY HILLS VISITOR CENTRE AT 11.00 am.
BY CAR:- Parking at Waseley Hills pay & display car park, Gannow Green Lane, Rubery, B45 9AT. Cost: £3.00 all-day parking (card/contactless payment only - cash is not accepted).
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: - The No. 63 bus departs from opposite Birmingham New Street station (Stop NS3) at 9.47 am. Alight at Crompton Road, Frankley at 10.31 am. (The walk leader will catch the bus en-route at Rubery, and lead the group to the visitor centre).
Walk Description:
An invigorating 5-6 mile walk in rural Worcestershire and Waseley Hills Country Park, including sections of the North Worcestershire Path and Monarch's Way. There are ample facilities en-route, including the Windmill Cafe, Lizzie's Farm and Tea Rooms, and the Wildmoor Oak pub - each situated in tranquil surroundings. A suitable rest stop will be arranged for those of you bringing your own refreshments. Total walk distance 4.7 or 6.1 miles, gradient 538 or 647 feet.
Bookings for this walk will close at 06.00 on Thursday 10 September. After this, please email bhamramblersenquiries@gmail.com to enquire about any late availability for the walk.
