All attendees must have completed the Build A Business Client Registration Form to be able to join the workshop.
If you have not previously completed this Registration Form, please complete after booking your place on Eventbrite.
To be eligible for this workshop, you must be a Greater Manchester resident or the owner of a Greater Manchester located business within the following GM authorities: Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, or Wigan.
Please arrive between 9:30-10am for networking and registration. Workshop starts at 10am.
Funding Your Business Idea!
Thinking about starting or growing a business but not sure how to fund it? This practical and informative workshop will help you understand the full range of business funding options and choose the right approach for your idea.
You’ll learn how to:
assess your own funding needs
explore grant, debt and equity funding
understand the benefits and risks of each option
We’ll also cover common pitfalls when applying for funding, with a strong focus on cash flow and how it impacts funding decisions.
You’ll also be introduced to local support and resources, including how BIPC and Manchester Libraries can support you with information, tools and advice to support your funding journey.
Ideal for: Aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage businesses, and anyone exploring funding to start or grow their business.
PLEASE NOTE: Build A Business programme of funded workshops have limited places. Failure to attend on two separate occasions without prior cancellation will result in you being barred from attending future workshops. This is due to the cost of setting up each workshop and making preparations based on the number of sign-ups.
