Making a Mess with Charcoal is a relaxed and playful two-hour workshop designed for anyone who wants to experiment with charcoal, regardless of previous drawing experience.

Led by contemporary charcoal artist Kenneth Uzoigwe Munachi, the workshop gives participants the freedom to explore charcoal through simple, guided activities. You will experiment with mark-making, smudging, blending, layering, erasing and texture while developing your own ideas.

There is no pressure to create a perfect drawing. You can follow the guidance, experiment freely or create something completely your own.

Charcoal is naturally messy, and that is part of the experience.
