Celebrate the launch of our new organisation with a showcase of our journey, and a premiere screening featuring The Outsiders Project. We are excited to invite you to our launch party on Thursday 8 October! Since 2018, TOSH and BEAF Arts Co have been bringing arts, artists and communities together across Boscombe and beyond. Now, we’re bringing these two organisations together to form Bournemouth Education Arts Foundation - and we’re excited to share what’s ahead for this new chapter. Join us at Wickham Works in Pokesdown - the very space where our story first began - to discover all there is to know about Bournemouth Education Arts Foundation - our origins, our future plans, and our groundbreaking work in creative health. An exhibition of the BEAF Story A premiere screening of The Outsiders Project short film A look inside the hidden gem of Wickham Works - opening specially for one night only Plus refreshements, and the chance to meet and mingle with our creative community. Venue We’ll be celebrating at one of Boscombe’s hidden architectural gems - Wickham Works, opening specially for one night only. This beautiful heritage building was the setting for the very first BEAF Festival performance, making it a fitting place to celebrate where we’ve come from and, most importantly, where we’re going next. Access & Parking Wickham Works has step-free access. There is disabled parking onsite, and residential street parking available nearby. Getting to Wickham Works By train Wickham Works is around a 5-minute walk from Pokesdown Station. Exit the station onto Christchurch Road, then head towards Hannington Road/Wickham Road. By bus There are regular bus services along Christchurch Road, with stops at Hannington Road and Pokesdown Station, both just a short walk from Wickham Works. Services include the 1A, 1B, 1C, 22, 85 and m2, among others.
