A circular walk of the West High Down from Tennyson Monument to The National Trust Needles including an exclusive tour of The New Battery Rocket Testing Exhibition.
There will be a short stop at Tennyson's Monument. There are steps but no stiles on this route. The Needles New Battery facility is underground and an enclosed space. There will be a short video presentation too. The Headland is an exposed site and walkers should carry/wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Length of walk: 5 miles (2hrs 30mins + 30 minute tour of New Battery)
