Acute ReferralCentre - Optimising Communication and Clinical Outcomes

This collaborative educational evening will feature a series of presentations delivered by Community Optometrists, Specialist Ophthalmology Registrars followed by small group interactive case discussions .

This event aims to strengthen collaborative working relations between Primary and Secondary care within Tayside fostering effective communication , shared learning and improving pathways of care . Aligning with Optometrists professional guidelines and local protocols this session will support the delivery of timely, clinically appropriate and Px. focussed care embracing outcomes through closer intergration between healthcare professionals .

GOC have suggested Self Directed CPD due to nature of the presentations and diversity of Optometrist experiance . Attendance certificates will be available on receipt of feedback form.
