Join us for a guided walk along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, and a chance to connect to your local environment and community!

Walk Wheel Cycle Trust have joined forces with Canal & River Trust to improve the towpath between Bingley Five Rise Locks and Three Rise Locks, and we're inviting you to join us in enjoying this beautiful part of the canal!

The walk will be 1 hour long, taking us along a section of one of the country's longest canals with time to marvel at the Grade I listed Bingley Five Rise Locks and enjoy the birdsong of Bingley North Bog.

All ages and abilities are welcome, but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Location: start and finish at Bingley Library, Five Rise Shopping Centre, Bingley BD16 1AW

Route: the walk will last 1 hour at a gentle pace and is suitable for all ages. While it is along a primarily flat and off-road path, there will be a slope to enter Bingley North Bog, and a steep decline at Five Rise Locks.

What to bring: sturdy footwear and clothes suitable for the weather - including water and SPF if it's a hot day!
