Did you know the UK’s largest living seawall is right on our doorstep?
We’re casting off and setting sail over to Shoreham Port, and we’re bringing our Net Zero Champions along for the ride (no wetsuit required).
Part of their ongoing work, the Southwick Reef is a recently installed pioneering habitat enhancement project designed to support biodiversity, research and community engagement along the Harbour Arm.
Come along to meet your fellow Net Zero Champions – the people in our business community interested in or already driving the journey towards Net Zero locally. You’ll also hear a short presentation before a visit to the reef.
You might meet a like-minded person who’s working on something you didn’t know about, get a new idea that you can bring back to your business, or simply come along to find out what’s happening in the sustainability space in your local area.
Thank you to our supporting members, Emer Gillespie from Spark & Bell and Vicki Ramsden from Integrity Executive Coaching for helping to shape our Net Zero Champions programme.
There is very little parking available at the Port and this will need to be paid for by phone- so with sustainability especially in mind, we do recommend people travel via public transport, with Southwick station a 3 minute walk and the 700 bus stopping right outside.
