About This Event

A live podcast titled Ditch Hustle Culture to Build Career Longevity will be presented at Komedia Brighton on 7 October 2026. Ticket prices are between £6.13 and £27.80.

In this live podcast, we explore why career longevity isn't about keeping up with change, it's about learning to lead yourself through it.

Success is often presented as a simple formula. Work harder. Do more. Achieve more.

But what happens when the success you're chasing leaves you exhausted, disconnected, or wondering "Is this really what I want?"

Hustle culture has taught many of us that constant growth, productivity and pushing through are the path to success. But sustainable success requires something different. We need to understand ourselves, our strengths, our energy and what success actually means to us.

During this live podcast, Sarah, Tazmin & Jack will explore why career longevity is not just about keeping up with change, it’s about learning how to lead yourself through it.

We’ll explore

Why hustle culture is so seductive, especially earlier in our careers

The hidden cost of chasing external definitions of success

How self-sabotage, people-pleasing and the need for validation can hold us back

Why understanding who we are and aligning our careers to ourselves is the missing piece in creating long and meaningful success

How knowing your strengths, protecting your energy and making intentional choices can help you build a career that lasts

Why sustainable success benefits not only individuals, but also organisations and the people around us

Join us as we discuss how to ditch the hustle culture mindset and create long lasting success that works for both your career and your life.

You’ll leave with fresh perspectives, practical questions to reflect on, and a better understanding of how to build a career that is successful, sustainable and aligned with who you are.

How does a live podcast work?

We will be recording an episode which will be published on their podcast feeds. However, there is a twist!

This is no ordinary episode; it will be carried out in front of a live audience, at the wonderful venue Ironworks Studios, meaning that our community will be able to gain a snapshot into the production of the SEO Mindset and Search with Candour podcasts.

There will also be an opportunity for a live Q&A to really help you be part of the process!

Once the episode has been recorded, it will be available on both podcasts across YouTube, Spotify, Apple and Amazon Music.
