About This Event

One hour to slow down, meet differently, and experience what authentic connection can feel like. What if connection could be more than conversation? We spend so much of our time talking to people, exchanging stories, asking questions, filling the silences. But what happens when we slow down? When we become a little more curious about what is happening within us, between us, and beneath the words? The Relating Room is a small, experiential gathering where we practise meeting ourselves and each other with a little more awareness, honesty and presence. This time will have a dedicated space at The Nest at Murmuration Rooms, a quieter contained environment where we can step away from the noise and give our full attention to the experience of being together. We’ll make the tea, bring the scones and create a warm space for you to arrive, slow down and settle in. Then, through simple authentic relating practices, playful questions and moments of genuine presence, we’ll explore what happens when we meet beyond the usual small talk. A few strangers. A different kind of connection. Come and discover what becomes possible when we make a little more room to meet. Booking & Attendance The Relating Room is intentionally small, with limited spaces so we can create a contained and welcoming experience. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking as soon as possible so someone else can take your place. Repeated no-shows without cancelling may result in being moved to the waiting list for future events. This helps us offer spaces fairly and prepare the room responsibly. We created Authentic Relating Experience because we believe something is missing from the way we learn to be with each other. We’re surrounded by people, conversations and opportunities to connect, yet genuine connection can still feel surprisingly difficult. We’re curious about the messy, beautiful, uncomfortable and surprising nature of being human, and we’re learning alongside you. Along the way, we found more humans who shared that curiosity. Our paths crossed with Pranath and Erika, and something began to grow. Together, we’re creating spaces that can be warm, playful, edgy, imperfect and honest. But more than anything, authentic.
