Introduction to Ecotherapy
How can we bring it into our lives and work?
Ecotherapy supports wellbeing through connection with the natural world. This workshop is for anyone curious about ecotherapy personally, as well as professionals wanting to integrate nature‑based approaches into their work. We’ll explore the history of ecotherapy, its role in society today, and why nature‑based support is increasingly important. Discussion and practical outdoor activities will help you strengthen your own relationship with nature and consider how this can shape your personal or professional practice.
Date :
Small group sessions – early booking recommended.
• Friday 2nd October
Time: 10am–4pm
Location: Wilderness Site, Centre for Ecotherapy, Stanmer Park, Brighton
Cost: £95.00. Concessions available – email info@centreforecotherapy.org.uk
Drinks and hot soup included.
This is an outdoor practical workshop. Please check the weather and wear layers and sturdy shoes. The workshop goes ahead in rain and would only be cancelled in extreme weather.

If you’re unable to attend, please email info@centreforecotherapy.org.uk as soon as possible.
If the Centre for Ecotherapy cancels, you can transfer to another date or receive a full refund.
Refunds:
• Up to 14 days before: 75% refund
• Up to 7 days before: 50% refund
• Within 7 days or non‑attendance: no refund

Buses:
• 25 bus from Brighton stops at Stanmer Park Gates (Lower Lodges).
• 78 bus travels up into Stanmer Park to Stanmer Village church.
Train:
Falmer Station has an underpass and a 400m walkway to the park entrance.
Car:
From the A27, take the Stanmer Park/University exit and follow Stoney Mere Way through the park gates.
