A grief tending series for motherless daughters+

all women and nonbinary people warmly welcome

autumn 2026,

Inviting those of us who have lost our mothers, whether in this physical world by death, to addiction, mental illness, estrangement, or other forms of distance and complexity.

You are welcome to bring what's in your heart. You are welcome to bring your own grief. You are welcome to bring your mother's grief, and her mother's, and her mother's. This is a held and guided space, where our grief is honoured as holy.

This is a five-session series in autumn 2026. Sessions will be both in-person at stanmer park and online, with a session at the sauna to close.

1: water - sunday 20 september 2-5pm · earthship @ stanmer park, brighton

2: air - sunday 4 october 2-4pm · online

3: ether - sunday 25 october 2-4pm · online

4: fire - sunday 8 november 2-5pm · stanmer sauna garden, brighton

5: earth - sunday 15 november · stanmer sauna garden, brighton

The exchange is £100 for the full series, £50 deposit (purchased via Eventbrite).
