An Inclusive Approach to Women's Health and Wellbeing in Coastal Communities
Join us for a collaborative and inspiring event bringing together researchers, clinicians, community organisations, women with lived experience, and members of the public to explore women's health and wellbeing in coastal communities.
This in-person event, hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey and Sussex (ARC KSS) Women's Health Research Network (WHRN), will explore how to involve people who are not usually involved in research and bring together women, community organisations, clinicians and researchers to develop ideas for future women's health research and explore how these ideas could become future funding applications.
The event will provide an opportunity to learn more about how research funding works, build confidence in developing research ideas and applications, identify women's health priorities, and work together to co-produce ideas that could form the basis of future funding applications.

Learn how health research funding works
Gain confidence in developing research ideas and funding applications
Explore current women's health priorities in coastal communities
Share your experiences and perspectives
