About This Event

Family members can enjoy an exciting day of outdoor adventure and learning on 30 October at The Vench Adventure Playground & Community Centre in Bristol during the October Half Term. Instructors will guide participants through various bushcraft and woodland skill sessions, perfect for those aged eight years and older. The event runs from 10:30 am and costs £11.55 per person, providing a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with nature.

Go on a wild adventure this October holiday on a family bushcraft and woodland skills day in the Stoke Park Estate. We will explore the wild woods, identify plants, trees and mushrooms, learn to light our own fire and cook our own garlic bread, learn all about the forest and how things work, and some of the fascinating ways we can use plants and the woodland around us.

This event is for children aged 8 and over. Due to the nature of the event, all children must be accompanied by an adult - we ask a maximum of two under 16s per adult in attendance for safety with fire and knives.
