Come watch a short that explores the rollercoaster of grief and stick around for a Q&A with the filmmakers and others in the grief club
Let's Talk About Loss x EVERYMAN x Messy Films Presents... The Pigeon
Frances, a bereaved young woman, believes her sister has been reincarnated as a pigeon.
We have made a short film about our grief, and partnered with grief charity Let's Talk About Loss to share our film with the people we made it for : the grievers!
Join us for an in-person screening of a funny, absurd short film representing the wild experience of loss. After the film, stick around for an informal Q+A where grievers can share, or just listen, and find some comfort in community. Whether you’re new to the club or have been navigating loss for a while, this event is a place to bring your grief... and your sense of humour. Because we all know how they weirdly go hand in hand...
This is part of our collaboration with Everyman, who will screen our film at different venue's across the UK over August and September.
'The Pigeon has humor that reaches down into your gut and finds the pain that you don't know how to untangle' - The Contending
