Join the NetDRIVE community in Bristol to galvanise collective action toward more sustainable digital research infrastructure.

Hosted by UWE Bristol’s Digital Cultures Research Centre (https://www.dcrc.org.uk/), the meeting will take place at Watershed (https://www.watershed.co.uk/), a values-led cultural organisation on Bristol’s Harbourside. The 3-day event focuses on building the shared capacities to drive transformative change in sustainable computing.

Across three days, the meeting will:

• Create the conditions for galvanising the NetDRIVE community toward collective action

• Identify barriers that limit coordinated change across institutions and sectors

• Sharing stories, demonstrations and emerging research practices

• Develop next steps for advancing sustainable research computing together

• Situate NetDRIVE within wider environmental efforts

The event is part of UWE Bristol’s Green Fortnight (https://www.uwe.ac.uk/events/green-fortnight), an annual programme exploring eco ideas, smart living, and collective action for a greener future.

Please note that selected sessions will be recorded, including contributions from both online and in-person participants. NetDRIVE will use the recordings only to capture ideas and feedback that help improve the project and its impact. Nothing will be attributed to individuals in any outputs, and recordings will be stored securely under the University of Oxford's and UWE Bristol's data protection policies.
