Join Bristol Women's Voice for a meeting exploring women's health, discrimination, sexism, and ageism within healthcare. This is an opportunity to come together, share experiences, and help shape conversations around a more inclusive and equitable health system.
We are working to ensure that Women’s Health Over 55 is recognised within GP training and that sexist and ageist in health settings is challenged and changed. And to give women over 55 confidence in attending medical appointments. We want better medical outcomes for all women!

About the campaign
Bristol Women's Voice is continuing its work to influence change within healthcare, to ensure voices and experiences of women over 55 are heard.
Our campaign aims to improve understanding of women’s health needs over 55, including ensuring this is reflected in GP training. We are also working to challenge sexist and ageist language and practices within health settings.
By bringing people together, we can help create a healthcare system that recognises, respects, and responds to the experiences of women over 55.

Our goal is to make women's equity a reality in Bristol. We do this through campaigning, connecting and celebrating.
By coming together, women and non-binary people over 55 can ensure their voices are heard and help create a health system that better understands and supports their needs.
Information for new attendees
We are a friendly, inclusive and supportive community. This event is open to women and non-binary people over 55 only.
We welcome non-binary people who may wish to access our service if they feel comfortable doing so (understanding that they may be 'read' as women) and feel that our work is relevant to their experience.
