But, twenty years after the start of their journey, they are still on the run. The book narrates their remarkable journey through our darkening universe. Told, shared and mythologised by a generation of lovers, rebels and readers, their testimonies are woven together into one of the most dazzling Latin American novels of all time. An intermediate/advanced level of Spanish is welcome but not mandatory. The goal of the book club is to analyse the book of the month and engage in literary discussion in Spanish. However, if you are worried your level might not be up to such a discussion, you're still welcome to read, come along and listen in (and join in if you muster the confidence)
