Join us for our challenging book club to discuss part of Romantic Outlaws by Charlotte Gordon, which is a biography of Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley. In this meeting, we will be discussing Mary W, so you do not have to read the whole book. In next month's meeting, we will be discussing A Vindication of the Rights of Woman. We will probably pick an extract or section of the book, given its length and difficulty. We can talk about this at the October meeting and I will update here. This is likely to be the first in three meetings on feminist literature. Please feel free to link to any useful sites that you find below in the comments. E.g. On past events we have included a link to an Apple playlist of medieval music, curated by Jeremy and I have posted links to relevant podcasts and youtube clips. Meet at Pinkmans Cafe at Bristol Cathedral at midday on Saturday 10 October. Pinkmans cafe offers food as well as tea, coffee etc. Please at least buy a drink to support the venue. I will be having lunch.
