Fancy doing something a little different this Halloween?

Join us at Clifton Observatory for an evening of tarot, cocktails, canapés and the Giant’s Cave after dark.

The Observatory dates back to 1766 and has a pretty interesting history. Originally built as a windmill, it was later turned into an observatory by Bristol artist William West. He also created the Camera Obscura and opened the passage down to the Giant’s Cave in 1837.

The cave itself is full of Bristol folklore and is said to be linked to the legendary giants Goram and Ghyston.

For one night only, you’ll be able to explore the cave after dark, enjoy a drink on the rooftop and have your own 20-minute tarot reading.

How it works

When you book, you’ll choose a 20-minute time slot for your tarot reading.

You don’t need to arrive at 7pm - just come along any time from 7pm onwards around your chosen slot.

Before or after your reading, you’re free to enjoy the rooftop, grab some food and a drink, and head down into the Giant’s Cave.

7pm–10pm: Cocktails, canapés, rooftop terrace & Giant’s Cave

20 minutes: Your tarot reading

There will be heaters on the rooftop, but it is October, so bring a coat!
