About This Event

The Dovedale Big Litter Pick event will take place on 1 September 2026 at Ilam Park, Dovedale and the White Peak in Buxton. It is an outdoors event that brings together various participants for a litter pick. Admission is free.

Want to make a difference on your doorstep, join us at Dovedale National Nature Reserve on one of our event days from 9am-12pm for a big group litter pick.

We'll provide all the equipment and information you need to litter pick safely.

You'll work with one of our rangers or another volunteer, and head off on a litter picking hunt to help clear the nature reserve of rubbish and make it great a place for both nature and people.

We'll give you an area to focus on, depending on how much time you have and whether you'd prefer to stick to the valley bottom or want a more adventurous route up into the hills.
