Explore creativity as a tool for self-expression and wellbeing through grounding & guided art exercises in a relaxed, supportive space

The Workshop

Join artist Gabriela as she introduces participants to the principles of art psychotherapy and explores how creativity can be used as a means of self-expression, reflection and wellbeing.

Through gentle grounding exercises and guided art-making, participants will be invited to explore their creative process in a relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental environment.

Through this workshop, Gabriela hopes to introduce participants to the principles of art psychotherapy and explore how creativity can extend beyond artistic production into a tool for self-expression, self-discovery and wellbeing.

The Artist

Gabriela is a multi-disciplinary artist and a recently HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist with a background in illustration and animation.

Her creative journey has evolved from exploring art as a form of visual storytelling to discovering its potential as a means of expression, reflection and emotional connection.

Passionate about making art psychotherapy and mental health support more accessible to those who need it, Gabriela’s practice is informed by an embodied approach to art-making.

Exploring how our sensory experiences, bodily awareness and creative processes can open up pathways to unconscious material that may be difficult to access or make meaning of using words alone.

Important Information
