The Cambridge Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre is delighted to invite you to our open event for patients, carers, and anyone with an interest in cancer clinical trials and translational research (how lab discoveries become treatment).
Hear talks from researchers, clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals and patients.
We will welcome delegates in person* and also live-stream the event for those who are overseas or unable to attend.

Introduction to early phase trials - Dr Richard Baird
Using Artificial Intelligence to detect cancer earlier with a focus on liver cancer - Prof Matthew Hoare and team
Childhood cancer - Dr Aditi Vedi and team
Prostate cancer - Dr Simon Pacey and team
How advanced cancer imaging helps diagnose and treat cancer - Prof Ferdia Gallagher/Prof Luigi Aloj and team
Head and neck cancer - Dr Will Ince and team
Over lunch you can visit our cancer support charity stands and posters where you can learn more about cancer detection and treatment. The lunch activities will not be live-streamed.
