A half day course with Buddhist Nun Kelsang Oden
In a world that often encourages dissatisfaction, comparison, and self-concern, it can be easy to lose touch with the simple joy and preciousness of being alive. Buddha taught that this human life is deeply meaningful and rare, offering us a precious opportunity to develop inner peace, wisdom, compassion, and lasting happiness. Yet according to Buddhist wisdom, genuine happiness arises naturally when we learn to appreciate the goodness around us, develop a generous heart, and cultivate joyful states of mind.
In this inspiring half-day course, Buddhist nun Kelsang Oden will guide us through practical meditations and contemplations that help us develop gratitude, kindness, generosity, and inner joy in daily life.
Through learning to focus on what nourishes and uplifts the mind, we can begin to let go of negativity, isolation, and mental heaviness, and instead develop a lighter, more meaningful, and more compassionate way of living.
Suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators.
Each session will consist of a talk and guided meditation plus time for Q&A.
