About This Event

Join Cardiff University’s RAIM group and AgiBot for a free Research & Robot Exhibition Discover the latest developments in robotics, embodied AI, and human-centred intelligent systems at the Research & Robot Exhibition, co-hosted by the RAIM group at Cardiff University and AgiBot. Taking place at Cardiff University’s School of Engineering on Monday, 19 October 2026, this free event brings together students, researchers, academics, engineers, and industry professionals for a day of robotics demonstrations, research presentations, technical exchange, and networking. The event is being held at Queen's Building, The Parade, Cardiff. The exhibition will feature live demonstrations of AgiBot robotic platforms, including the AgiBot X2 Ultra half-size humanoid, A3 Ultra full-size humanoid, G2 wheeled humanoid, and D1 Edu quadruped robot. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the robots in action, explore their potential applications in research and teaching, and speak to R&D representatives for technical discussions. In the afternoon, researchers from the RAIM group at Cardiff University will lead lab tours and present their current robotics research. These presentations are designed not only to showcase current research activities but also to stimulate conversations around research collaboration, industry engagement, joint projects, technology development, and future partnerships. The event is particularly intended to create connections between the research community and industry. Whether you are interested in robotics research, embodied AI, robot applications, collaborative R&D, or exploring how advanced robotic platforms could support your organisation, you are welcome to attend.
