Outline programme

The event will take place at the Parkgate Hotel and will include this year's Student Awards Ceremony, along with the announcement and showcase of all entrants to the Think Local, Design Big competition.

We welcome built environment professionals and students to come along to celebrate this year's Student Award Winners and see the innovative ideas of all compeition entrants.

This year's design competition to dentify a local site and propose a creative intervention under 100m² that improves people, place or environment. Open to RIBA/RSAW members (Student included).

Whether it is an underused corner of a neighbourhood, a forgotten green space, a vacant plot, a neglected streetscape or an overlooked community asset, we want to see proposals that demonstrate how design can improve everyday life and create lasting positive impact.

RSAW/RIBA member: £10 +VAT

Non-member: £20+VAT

A photographer may cover this event and the images may be used to publicise future RIBA events. By accepting an invitation or purchasing a ticket you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as a visitor attending the event.

If RIBA has to postpone or cancel the event the booker is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price only.

Where tickets are refunded, please note ticketing fees are non-refundable.
