Welcome to our in-person event on processing CRI-U samples! Join us at SLR (the former Wardell Armstrong Offices in Carlisle) for a hands-on experience in environmental sample processing. Learn the techniques and best practices in handling and analyzing samples. Network with fellow professionals and experts in the field. Environmental processing involves washing soil to encourage small finds, flora debris and insect remains to float to the surface. This provides valuable information about the environment around the Cricket Club, at the time the sample was deposited.

It is mucky work, so wear old clothes and expect to be standing. Lunch is not provided, it is recommended to bring some with you, or you will have to visit the butty van down the road!

IMPORTANT: This venue has stepped access and no ramp. We apologise that it is not wheelchair accessible.
