About This Event

The Hertfordshire & Essex High School and Science College in Chelmsford holds an open evening for prospective Year 7 students on 17 September 2026 at 16:30. Booking is required to attend Executive Headteacher talks.

Join us for our Open Evening for prospective students for entry into Year 7. You can book for one of the Executive Headteacher talks here.

You do not need to book to attend our Open Evening. Booking is only required if you wish to attend one of the talks. Tickets are free.

Tours of the school will be available. These do not need to be booked; however, if you have booked for the 19:45 talk, there will be no tours of the school available after this. If you require a tour and have booked for the 19:45 talk, you should arrive in plenty of time to tour the school prior to the talk.

No tours will take place prior to the 17:30 talk.

All talks will start promptly at the advertised time, so please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to get seated as we will not be able to admit latecomers.
