Bystanders Can Be Lifesavers - Learn Emergency Aid in just one hour

Join us for an in-person event where you'll learn how everyday people can make a huge difference in emergency situations. Whether it's offering first aid or calling for help, your actions matter!

Sessions will start on the hour, every hour, between 10am and 3pm running for about 50 minutes. Hot and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits will be available at the start of each session.

Come meet others, gain practical skills, and find out how you can be a true lifesaver in your community. No special experience needed - just bring your willingness to learn and help!

There is no charge for this event but donations are very welcome on the day. We suggest £5 to cover the hall, consumables and of course some delicious WI cakes and refreshments.

Hosted by Twyning WI in support of the National WI Campaign to increase public confidence and training in the delivery of CPR and use of defibrillators in their communities.

Twyning WI will be supported by Live Life Adventure and RecoverySafe, Twyning-based companies, who will provide help and information on what to do in an emergency including: training in how to use a defibrillator; how to give CPR and how to deal with other first aid emergencies such as choking and severe bleeding.
