Discover how Tarot can unlock new possibilities in your writing with novelist and qualified Jungian Tarot reader Jill Dawson . While writing her novel Fred and Edie , Jill found herself stuck and decided to give her protagonist, Edie Thompson, a Tarot reading. Twenty-six years later her latest novel, Pixie , inspired by her own creative practice explores the life of forgotten Tarot artist Pamela Colman Smith. This playful, generative workshop explores how Tarot can help overcome writer's block, deepen character and spark fresh narrative ideas. Through writing exercises, discussion and the chance to ask Jill about her own writing process, you'll discover new ways to approach your work. Suitable for novelists of all levels, with no prior knowledge of Tarot required. Ticket includes a drink. There will be a book signing after this event.
