Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm - Wildlife Walk Begins at 11:00am

Please note - We we be on site from 10am - 2pm, but the wildlife walk runs from 11am - 12pm.

Pop Up Information:

The Bird Aware Team will be setting up at Mistley Walls to welcome in the Great Coastal Birdwatch 2026! The ranger team will be there with activities and games and tips on how you can do your own Great Coastal Birdwatch. In an exciting twist, we'll be joined by our friends at Wildlife Wise to make this year's Great Coastal Birdwatch day extra special!

Wildlife Walk Information:

Join us for a short light stroll as we explore the shore of Manningtree and celebrate local wildlife. Our coastal ranger will guide you from our gazebo along the sea wall towards Cattawade Bridge and back. The walk will take approximately 1 hour, and we will walk over a flat surface with frequent stops for birdwatching, using spotting scope.

Please bring suitable footwear, as the paths can get muddy and slippery after wet weather. There are public toilets in Manningtree town, and we will be passing a pub on the way. Dogs are welcome to join in but MUST be kept on leads for the entire duration of the walk.
