Breaking through Addiction - Insight, Experience & Recovery. A Tabor Group Recovery Month event hosted by Brian O’Connell with Danny Buckley As part of Tabor Group’s flagship Recovery Month event, we invite you to join us on Wednesday, 30 September from 2.30pm at Vertigo, Cork County Hall, for a thought-provoking and inspiring afternoon: Breaking Through Addiction: Insight, Experience & Recovery Hosted by RTÉ journalist and broadcaster Brian O’Connell, the event will bring together powerful personal stories, professional insights and honest conversations about addiction, its impact and the journey towards recovery. The afternoon will feature a keynote conversation with Danny Buckley, founder and director of ADHD Now. Inspired by his own lived experience of ADHD, Danny established ADHD Now after his journey through assessment and diagnosis highlighted the barriers many people face when trying to access understanding and support. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring former Armagh footballer Oisín McConville. The afternoon will offer an honest, compassionate and hopeful exploration of addiction—recognising the realities faced by individuals and families while highlighting the strength, support and possibility at the heart of recovery.
