An Access UCC workshop for primary students who are Deaf or hard of hearing will be held at the AT Lab, Boole Library, UCC in Cork on 11 February 2027. This event is designed for 5th and 6th class students and is free to attend.
Access UCC fun day workshop for PRIMARY school students (5th & 6th class) who are Deaf/hard of hearing on UCC campus.
Access UCC's Disability Support would like to invite you to attend a one-day fun workshop for primary school (5th & 6th class) students who are Deaf/hard of hearing.
We will meet in the Assistive Technology Lab in the Boole Library at 10 am.
For students, we will have some fun activities in the morning, while parents can attend an information session with UCC advisors who will outline the DARE process and current supports for students with disabilities in UCC. Current UCC students with disabilities will also share their experiences with parents/guardians.
Lunch will then be provided for students, followed by more fun activities in the afternoon, finishing at 3 pm. (Collection from the Maradyke Arena at 3 pm)
