Come make a paper lantern and bring the galaxy into your home!
Under the guidance of artist K.A. Jagai, you will make a wood-and-paper cosmos-inspired lantern, lit from within and decorated with your own astronomical art. You’ll learn about and draw from historical examples of astronomical art as well as recent, exciting photos from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope. Learn about the history of space art and make some of your own to take home with you!
This evening is hosted by O’SHO, a small pub with chill vibes and great cocktails in Cork City, as part of their ongoing Offline Tuesdays series. ‘Swap screen time for real time’ and get a chance to unwind, meet others and play with new hobbies.
