Who is it for?
This workshop is for health professionals who are working, or want to work, therapeutically with people with an eating disorder/disordered eating. This workshop is designed to follow the Level 1 CFT for Eating Disorder workshop. Participants should have completed this or an earlier INTRO and have some experience of using CFT with clients.

About this Course
The workshop will remind clinicians of the principles, philosophy and techniques of CFT-E2 and how these can be used to help people recover from an eating disorder/disordered eating. It will outline the clients journey from assessment to intervention to help decide if CFT -E2 could be helpful for them. Participants will:
· Practice identifying shame and self-criticism
· Learn about CFT-E2 Formulations and how to use them in therapy
· Explore how shame and pride can be addressed during therapy,
· Learn how to help a client expand their capacity for managing the biological, psychological and social challenges of recovery
· Practice key CFT-E2 therapeutic techniques, including soothing and compassionate mind practices.
· Explore how CFT-E2 can implemented in the participants work setting.
The workshop consists of didactic teaching, role plays and the practise of key CFT techniques (such as imagery and breathing exercises). Completion of this training enables partecipants access to post workshop supervision, consultation and Masterclasses.
