Objectives: Lecture attendees should at the end of the evening have better grasps on:

· Instrumentation and clinical technique required to achieve straight line access to root canals.

· The two main techniques utilised in establishing glide paths and how to know when you have created one.

· Which instrumentation to use during negotiation and how not to do it.

· Radiographic diagnosis of the root canal path and when to pre-curve files and by how much.

· When to use Sodium Hypochlorite and when to use EDTA according to their respective clinical properties.
