Cruagh Woods Walk
The Dublin Mountains Partnership Volunteer Rangers will lead these easy paced walks in various Coillte’s Forests in the Dublin Mountains.
Come join DMP and Active Cities Dublin for a series of morning walks during July and August at various Coillte Forests in the Dublin Mountains. The aim of the Parks & Trails Challenge is to encourage people to discover their local parks and trails and also explore parks and trails in the greater Dublin area. The link to download the app on Google Play and App Store is https://dublindiscoverytrails.ie/.
There are two booking options:
Meet at Tallaght Luas stop 8.45am, where a complimentary bus will take you to Cruagh Woods
or
Meet at Cruagh Woods at 9:15am.
Date: Saturday, 4th of July
Distance: Approximately 4 km.
Time: It takes about 1 hour to complete.
Degree of difficulty: Moderate due to inclines.
Bring: Sturdy footwear, rain jacket, warm clothes, drink and snack.
Note – no dogs allowed on this walk.
Please inform us privately of any health issues on the day and ensure you bring any necessary medication with you.
In the event of an orange or red weather warning, this event will be cancelled. Other weather warnings will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
