Join our Dublin Mountains Partnership Volunteer Rangers for a relaxed evening walk exploring a hidden gem route at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. This scenic route offers a peaceful escape close to urban life, with a chance to discover local heritage and enjoy the outdoors in good company.
Along the way, we’ll visit historic sites including ancient Celtic crosses and Rathmichael Church, its round tower, and surrounding graveyard. There will be plenty of opportunities to pause, take in the surroundings, and chat as we go.
Duration: Approximately 2.5–3 hours
Distance: Approximately 7km (Easy)
Terrain: A mix of quiet roads, footpaths, and gravel trails.
Bring: Sturdy footwear, weatherappropriate clothing, and water.
Meeting Point: Laughanstown LUAS Stop (Green Line)
Please note: No parking available at the start location so using public transport is a must.
Children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult
