Why This Class?
Casual Rope classes have been running across Scotland since 2023.
Our instructors have a combined nearly 20 years of Shibari experience, and both have 10+ years of experience in teaching within other fields/sports.
The goal is to provide a safe and affordable space for newcomers to learn rope bondage.
The class emphasises that both riggers and bunnies should master the basics to explore this beautiful art form fully
What You Need?
- Around 3 lengths of natural fiber rope, each 8 meters long is recommended.
- Rope shears (available for purchase if you don’t have any).
- We will have rope available to lend out on the day.
- A selection of @Casual_Rope dyed rope will be for sale.
This Class Contains:
- Single column, non-tightening
- Joining rope
- Futomomo
- Natural anchor points
- Pentagram and the basics of building a chest harness
- Full-body ties
- How to build and keep tension
- Reverse tension
- Rope safety
- Free tie time if time permits
Extra Notes:
- If you have a yoga mat, we recommend bringing it.
- Bringing snacks and water is recommended.
- Please dress appropriately for the event; think gym clothes, nothing formal, baggy that can get caught up in the rope or fetish wear.
- You don’t need to come with a partner; you can pair up at the class when required.
-All participants will be required to tie and be tied.
-This event is sold as one ticket per person.
