Help to manage the Community Orchard at Hetton Park with Links with Nature and Living Woods.

Links with Nature is happy to be joined by Mark Shipperlee from Living Woods at the community orchard in Hetton Park for a series of sessions:

26th September - Tree stake replacement, guards and topping up wood chip

24th October - tbc

21st November - tbc

We will meet at the entrance to Hetton Park from Houghton Road (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ThBbkNXTHL2RDRqu5 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ThBbkNXTHL2RDRqu5)). What3Words: ///sharpened.fool.tapes. Parking is available at The Hetton Centre (W3W:///look.grove.sheds) which is only a 10 minute walk from the meeting point.

All tools, and instructions on how to use them, will be provided but attendees should bring there own lunch, warm clothes and sturdy footwear. Attendees will need to attend the whole session to get the most out of it. Attendees must be over 18.

Please note there are no on site facilities such as toilets at Hetton Park.
