Join the Tithe Green team on Saturday 24th October 2026 for our annual community planting day at our Blue House burial ground, TS28 5NR.

Every year, we invite the Tithe Green community to their local site to spend time in the beautiful grounds, meet others in the community, and plant some wildflowers. It's a chance to gather together and make our shared space even more beautiful.

This year, we are pleased to host our first planting day at Blue House Woodland Burial, which recently joined the Tithe Green family.

If you have a loved one resting at Blue House and have questions about the new stewardship, or would like to talk to the team directly, our planting day is a fantastic opportunity. The team will be there from 11am-3pm, with native wildflowers for you to buy and plant around the site.

If you have never visited Blue House Woodland Burials before and are curious about natural burial or simply want to spend time helping to rewild your local area and meet others in the community, you are warmly welcomed.

This is a free, drop-in event: you do not need to confirm a ticket, but if you're happy to confirm your attendance to help us manage expected numbers, you can do so.

Our friends at Naturescape (https://www.naturescape.co.uk/) will be providing a selection of approved native plants and wildflowers for you to purchase and plant freely around the site. Please note we are a cash-only site. Refreshments will be available.

Bring your family, your friends, children and grandchildren - if you have a loved one resting at one of our sites, it's a beautiful way to tend to their plot and honour them. If you don't - perhaps you are a nature lover keen to get more involved with the local community - you are warmly invited, too.
