What connects the crises in Housing, Youth Services and the Cost of Living, and how do we fix them?

Our North East are holding a series of four events where community groups can come and share experiences. Together we’ll learn about why our region is being repeatedly let down by politicians, and how we can build a better future for our region from the ground up.

The first event’s happening at the Railway Institute in Shildon on 23rd September from 10am to 3pm. It will focus on sharing experiences and understanding the underlying issues causing the crises in Housing, Youth Services and the Cost of Living. The following events will build on this knowledge and support community groups to build community power to win change.

We are inviting community groups based in County Durham working on these or related issues to join us for an interactive day making connections, building hope and eating lunch together! All are welcome!
