Join us in Edinburgh to hear from experts in problem-solving courts and bold justice reform. What can we learn from the evidence-led best practice taking place in Scotland and elsewhere? And what could our future justice system look like if we committed to avoiding short-term prison sentences and focused on practical solutions, innovation and collaboration? Our chief executive Karyn McCluskey will welcome speakers including Courtney Bryan (https://www.innovatingjustice.org/people/courtney-bryan/) – leader of the Center for Justice Innovation in New York City and others dedicated to pursuing justice system solutions in Scotland and beyond. Free, in-person event. Arrival from 12:30pm for a 1pm start. Access to the event is via the entrance on Lothian Street - not through the museum. Event recording will available on YouTube afterwards.
