This course is designed to help you lead effective group discussions and encourage positive collaboration.

Course Overview

This in-person course is for people who work with groups, staff teams, volunteers, individuals who use services, or groups involved in or consulted on how work is done.

It aims to:

Introduce you to the concept of facilitation and how it is different to other styles of working with groups

Provide you with a set of skills for group facilitation, including specific tools and frameworks for managing group dynamics, and to support useful conversations.

Provide you with the chance to practice using tools and frameworks in a learning environment.

Learning Outcomes

You will also get the chance to develop a practical plan for implementing your new skills and knowledge in the workplace.
