Nicholas Winding Refn’s modern masterpiece **Drive** is back at Edinburgh’s Filmhouse, and I thought it would be fun to see it again in the cinema. A fantastic script, an iconic soundtrack, and perfectly judged performances from Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. If you haven’t seen it, you’re in for a treat. This is the coolest crime film ever made. I plan to head to the Filmhouse café bar for a pre-film coffee, so you can either join me there, or meet by the windows in the lobby (details below). Everyone is welcome, so come join in, make new friends, and watch a brilliant film in a lovely independent cinema 🍿 **THE PLAN** 7:00pm - Coffee at Filmhouse cafe (optional) 8:00pm - Meet in foyer (by the windows) 8:20pm - Film starts 10:20pm - Film ends I think the cafe bar will be open afterwards, but I appreciate it’s a weeknight so I’ll leave it to yourselves whether you want to head there for a chat after. I’m off the next day so I’m happy to stay on for a bit if there’s demand. **TICKETS** I have booked **seat F2** in screen 3 (see the seat marked blue in the seating plan in photos). Ideally book the same row so we’re sat together 😊 If that row fills up, start filling the next one. Book here: https://www.filmhouse.org.uk/movie/drive **ACCESSIBILITY** Screen 3 is on the ground floor. There are a few steps on the way, with a wee lift if needed. There is 1 wheelchair space in row E, which is just in front of where I’ve booked. **RSVP** Please only add yourself as attending once you have booked your tickets, so we know who to look out for. If your plans change and you can no longer make it, it would be very much appreciated if you could update your attendance on here. Thank you kindly 😊
